意大利外交部奖学金：表演艺术管理 MAECI-Scholarship:Performing Arts Management

We are glad to announce that the Italian Foreign Ministry (MAECI) offers a scholarship to international students for attending the Master in "Performing Arts Management" organized by the "Accademia d'Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo Teatro alla Scala" for the academic year 2019-2020 . The scholarship will have a duration of 6 months (from January to June 2020, €900 per month). The scolarship holders will be 5.

我们很高兴地通知大家，意大利外交部向国际学生提供针对米兰斯卡拉学院“表演艺术管理”专业进修课程2019-2020学年的奖学金，为期6个月（2020年1月至6月，每月900欧元）。奖学金获得者名额为5个。

Italian Foreign Ministry (MAECI)

Italian Foreign Ministry offers five stipends for 6 months ( = € 900/month from January to June 2020) supporting the cost of living to international students (non-Italian).

1. Apply to the Master in Performing Arts Management on applyformasters.net by September 4, 2019 (for extra-European Candidates) or by October 1, 2019 (for European candidates).

2. Pass the admission interview to the Master's program and receive the admittance letter to the program by the Master Commission.

3. Apply for the MAECI scholarship no later than October 1, 2019 by sending an e-mail confirming your scholarship application to management@accademialascala with "Scholarship- MAECI" written in the subject line. The email must contain a personal statement (max 800 words) explaining why you want to study in Italy at Accademia Teatro alla Scala.

Master in Performing Arts Management

Conceived and organized by Accademia Teatro alla Scala in collaboration with the MIP Politecnico di Milano – Graduate School of Business and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d'Europa, our Master aims to give young professionals a global perspective on the world of the performing arts, in order to couple cultural and artistic knowledge with economic and managerial skills.

We offer a particular focus on Europe, North America and emerging markets with lectures led by international and renowned experts. Centering the development of each individual student, the curriculum features an organically structured set of complementary and interdependent modules and activities allowing our students to learn and develop managerial skills in each area of the performing arts' field.

The close bond with Teatro alla Scala and the chance to learn with top professionals from different departments of the theater allows our students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the performing arts field and to live the unique experience of La Scala. The course is completed with a guaranteed internship for each student at an internationally acclaimed cultural institution.  

1. This scholarship is only for students who have enrolled in the Master in "Performing Arts Management", after receiving the admittance letter to the program.

2. About the 80% of the courses will be leaded in English; the remaining 20% will be leaded in Italian.
Students need to have an excellent knowledge of English and a fair knowledge of Italian.

The duration of the Master is 20 months, from November 2019 to June 2021.

3. The application deadline to the Master is October 1 2019 for EU citizens and September 4 2019 for non-EU citizens. 

4. The application deadline for the MAECI scholarship is October 1 2019.
